Mission Statement

The mission of the Rock Valley College SIFE Team shall be to provide members the best opportunity to make a difference through providing education and supporting economic development in our community; focusing on enhancing the leadership, team work, and communications skills of our members. We will empower people to achieve their dreams through teaching the concepts of free enterprise.

Rock Valley College SIFE Team members value ethical conduct and embrace the differences of diverse individuals. We shall treat one another and all peoples with dignity and respect.

Rock Valley College SIFE Team’s goal is to maintain a status in our community as a permanent organization who is a leading influence in increasing entrepreneurship, ethical behavior and financial independence which will greatly impact the economic growth of our community.

The Vision

Rock Valley College Students In Free Enterprise is truly making a difference through teaching, learning, and leading in our college, our community, our nation, and our world. RVC SIFE is committed to breaking the forces that have perpetuated poverty, while promoting income, wealth and opportunity.


RVC SIFE understands that economic growth and human development are linked, and should enhance quality of life. RVC SIFE has developed a comprehensive organizational structure and established sustainability through networking relationships and community partnerships.


To further Rock Valley College’s institutional goals, RVC SIFE mobilized in 2006-07 to complete 29 ambitious projects to directly educate and make a real difference in lives of 14,178 people.
