Rock Valley College's Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) student led organization is a nationally award winning team.
2011 RVC-SIFE was selected best-in-class for its environmental sustainability project. Competing nation-wide, only eight teams were honored with this prestigious award. Our project: Green Reach Community Gardens.
2010 RVC-SIFE won the national prize for best entrepreneurial project., competing against more than 250 colleges and universities. Project: The Global Small Business Incubator.
By creatively designing and effectively implementing entrepreneurial projects we are positively impact our community and achieving measurable triple-bottom line results (economic, social, environmental).

Ghana Trip Overview: RVC-SIFE President, Sue Priebe, and faculty advisor, Stacy McCaskill traveled to Ghana December 8-27, 2011.
The RVC-SIFE goal is to set up a long-term collaboration with Accra's University College of Management globally renowned SIFE team. Sue & Stacy will also research the launch of TripleQuest Recycling. TripleQuest is focusing on the Kantamanto used clothing market located in Accra, Ghana as a first point of entry to the Ghana marketplace.
The UCOM & RVC SIFE teams are collaboratively implementing the launch of TripleQuest Recycling and are developing a microlending entrepreneurship program helping women start used clothing stalls in locale marketplaces throughout Ghana.
